My experience learning computer science

Community College (2 Semesters).
As I mentioned before, I was not a very good student in high school. When I was 26, I began community college. This is 8 years since I graduated high school. With all the time I had been away, I was unsure how I would fare. But I knew I had to give it a shot.

While I was serving customers at a restaurant, I decided to enroll at the community college. First, I completed the electives and low-level math. My grades in the two semesters were higher than I had expected. If I recall correctly, my GPA was about 3.4.

Purdue Northwest University (2 Semesters).
After that, I transferred to Purdue Northwest University and struggled with Calculus 1 & 2 for two semesters. I also took my first Computer Science course, which I failed!
